Instagram font generator for your bio and captions

Write your bio and captions in bold, italic, script and other styles, then copy them.

Instagram has no font menu. These styles are Unicode characters that look like letters in another font, so they keep their look wherever you paste them. Everything happens in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Where the styles work

Your bio, captions and comments take these characters. Your username does not, since Instagram limits it to plain letters, numbers, periods and underscores.

Why some letters look different

Unicode has no complete set for some styles. Script, gothic and outline borrow a few letters from older symbol blocks, and small caps and tiny have no letter for x and q, so those characters can look slightly off next to the rest.

Keep it readable

A screen reader reads most of these characters out one by one or skips them. Use them for a short line or a heading, and keep your name and the words that matter in plain text.
