n8n, Make and Zapier Social Media Automation

Use the sona.to apps for n8n, Zapier and Make to schedule posts from a workflow. Start workflows when a post is published or fails.

sona.to has its own app in n8n, Zapier and Make. With them, a workflow can create and schedule posts on your social channels, upload media and run SEO audits, and another workflow can start the moment a post is published or fails. This guide shows what each app does and a few workflows worth building. The workflow automation page sums it up.

What the sona.to apps can do

The apps cover the same parts of sona.to, each in its platform's own way.

Posts: create a post for one or several channels, to publish now or at a set time, then get, update, search or delete posts.

Channels and files: find your connected channels and upload images or videos to use in posts.

Analytics: read the figures of a channel.

SEO: create an SEO project, run a site audit, read its pages and issues and generate the fix for an issue.

Triggers: start a workflow when a post is published, when a post fails, when an SEO audit finishes or when it fails.

n8n

The sona.to node is a verified community node, available on n8n Cloud and on self-hosted n8n. Add it to a workflow, create a credential with a token from the API page of your sona.to dashboard and pick a resource and an operation. Channel and post pickers let you search by name instead of copying IDs. The sona.to Trigger node starts a workflow on the four events above and checks the signature of each request. Details on the n8n integration page.

Zapier

Search for sona.to in Zapier, connect your account and use its actions (create, edit or cancel a post, upload a file, create an SEO project, run an audit, generate a fix) and its searches (find a post, a channel or an SEO project) as steps in a Zap. Details on the Zapier integration page.

Make

The sona.to app in Make has modules for posts, channels, files, analytics and SEO, with dropdowns for your channels, posts and projects. Instant triggers watch published posts, failed posts and finished or failed audits. A Make an API call module reaches any other part of the sona.to API with the same connection. Details on the Make integration page.

Workflows worth building

From a spreadsheet to scheduled posts. A new row in Google Sheets with a text, a date and an image becomes a scheduled post on the channels you chose.

From your website to your channels. When an article or a product is published in your content system, a post announcing it is created in sona.to.

Know when a post fails. The "post failed" trigger sends a message to your team chat with the post and the channel.

A log of everything published. The "post published" trigger adds a row to a sheet with the date, the channel and the link to the post.

Act on SEO audits. When an audit finishes, its new issues become tasks in your project tracker.

If your posts need approval in a team, posts created by these workflows go to the Approvals page like any other post from you.

Other ways to connect

For your own code, the social media API and webhooks give the same access. n8n, Zapier and Make can also reach sona.to through their MCP client steps, the same way Claude and ChatGPT connect through MCP, which suits workflows built around an AI agent.
