Connect Claude or ChatGPT to sona.to through MCP and ask them to schedule posts, read your analytics or run an SEO audit. Included on every plan.
MCP lets Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants work with outside services on your behalf. sona.to runs an MCP server, so once you connect it, you can ask your assistant to schedule posts, read your analytics or run an SEO audit in plain words. It works on every plan.
What is an MCP server?
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to other services. An MCP server is the part on the service's side: it tells the assistant which actions exist, what each one needs and what it returns. The assistant then decides when to use them while it answers you.
The sona.to MCP server lives at https://mcp.sona.to/mcp. Any assistant that supports MCP can connect to it.
Connect Claude or ChatGPT
In Claude and ChatGPT, add sona.to as a custom connector with the address above. A sign-in screen opens: log in to sona.to and confirm the connection. There is no token to copy.
Connect Claude Code, Cursor and other code assistants
Assistants that run in a terminal or a code editor connect with a token instead. Create one on the API page in your sona.to dashboard and add it as the Authorization header when you register the server. The exact settings are shown on that same page.
What you can ask
A few examples of requests that work once sona.to is connected:
"Schedule these five posts for next week on Instagram and LinkedIn, one per day at 9 am." "Which of my Facebook posts did best last month, and what do they have in common?" "Run an SEO audit on my site and tell me the three issues to fix first."
Posts the assistant creates appear in your sona.to calendar like any other post.
What the assistant can reach
The assistant works inside the sona.to workspace you connected, with the same access you have there. In a team, a member who works on chosen channels only reaches those channels, and a member whose posts need approval sends posts to the Approvals page.
The MCP server follows the same access rules as the sona.to REST API. The full list of tools is documented at developers.sona.to, and the MCP feature page sums up what it covers.
Frequently asked questions
Is the sona.to MCP server free?
It is included on every plan, including Free. Actions follow your plan, as in the app.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. In Claude and ChatGPT you add the address and sign in. Only code assistants need a token, and the API page shows the settings to paste.
Can I use it from n8n, Make or Zapier?
Yes, their MCP client steps can connect to the same address. For most workflows the sona.to apps for n8n, Zapier and Make are simpler.
