Build a social media analytics report for each channel: reach, followers, top posts and best hours. Add AI insights and export a PDF.
A social media analytics report answers three questions: how the channel did over a period, which posts did best and what to change next. sona.to builds one page per channel with those answers, adds AI insights on request and exports the whole page as a PDF report for a client or a manager. The analytics page sums it up.
What to put in a social media report
A useful report is short and compares like with like. For each channel, include:
The main figures for the period, such as reach or views, engagement and followers, each next to the previous period of the same length.
Follower change over the period, not only the total.
The posts that did best and worst, with their figures, so the reader sees what worked.
The best days and hours, measured on results rather than on when you happened to post.
Two or three changes to try next period. A report that ends without a next step rarely changes anything.
A channel page for every network
Each connected channel with analytics has its own page in sona.to. Figure cards show the period's totals with the change from the previous period. Below them sit an activity chart, the follower curve, a table of posts you can sort by any figure and, where the network shares it, the countries of your audience.
A figure the network does not provide is left out instead of showing a misleading zero. Figures are collected in the background and the page opens straight away; the Refresh button fetches the latest data when you need it.
Best times measured on your own posts
The page shows your best days and hours to post, worked out from how each of your posts did against your usual results. It needs a few weeks of posts to be reliable; until then it falls back to the usual hours for that network. This part is free. Our guide to the best time to post on social media explains how to use it.
AI insights: what the numbers mean
One click on the AI insights card sends the period's figures to the AI, which explains which posts did best and the likely reasons, which hours work for this channel and which small changes to try. Every number in the answer is checked against your data, and any point that does not match is dropped.
Insights need at least five posts with figures in the period. Each run uses AI credits, shown on the button before you click, and the result is saved with the period, so opening it again costs nothing.
Export the report as a PDF
The PDF export turns the page into a report for the same period: the figures, the charts, the best hours and the saved AI insights. It is ready to send as a monthly report without rebuilding anything in a slide deck.
